The RawFarmGirl

I’m Angie, AKA The RawFarmGirl in my neck of the woods. 

I’m a mother of 3 amazing teenagers, a Jesus Lover, an outdoor adventurer, and a feisty ranch girl to the core. 

  Fall of 2020 I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase a 25-acre abandoned farm about 40 minutes from Austin Texas. The farm had previously been in the same family for over 150 years and is rich in Texas history.  The last few decades, the farm's been home to a small herd of cattle and a haven for native wildlife. With much help, I've spent the last year and a half cleaning up the property getting it ready for market gardens, fruit trees and farm animals.  And October of 2021 I stepped out of the corporate race and onto the farm full time, and where this adventure began!

I welcome you to join us as we work though the Up's and Down's and live out our purpose here on Haven Hill.

I strive to be the BEST Stewart of this land I have been blessed with.  To follow a regenerative/organic NO-till method of farming and aim to leave the farm in even better condition for my children & grandchildren. This year we have, downsized our cow herd to a bull calf & 2 heifers, added our first flock of laying chickens & ducks, and welcomed our first 4 dairy goats, who seem to think they run the place :)  HH has been such a blessing to my family and we want to share it.  Our dream is for the farm to become a haven and sanctuary for people in our community to step away from the stresses of this world and get reconnected with nature. I feel it’s super important for all of us to have an understanding of where our food comes from and how we can sustainably grow & raise it. Skills that need to be passed from one generation to the next. 

 I feel blessed to be a part of this farm’s story, and I wake up every day thankful I get to fulfill my purpose on the top of this Texas hill.  

It’s not easy being single, raising 3 kids, running a business and bringing revival to an abandoned farm

….but then if it was easy….it wouldn’t be near as rewarding 😊 

As I live out this great and sometimes crazy adventure, I pray that God will bring both the people into my life I can lift up and encourage, 

as well as those who will help nudge me towards greatness.  

We welcome and look forward to meeting anyone who comes out for a farm visit, or to volunteer and 

pray each and every one of you find peace in God's creation 

and feel the love of Jesus the moment you step foot on Havel Hill.
